Sniko Privacy Policy
Sniko is a no-account, offline-first casual arcade game. The core game works locally on your device. Sniko does not require login, does not create an online profile, and does not operate a custom gameplay server.
1. Information Sniko stores locally
Sniko saves gameplay and preference data on your device so the game can remember your progress and settings. This local data can include:
- best score, run statistics, survival time, combo and near-miss stats;
- unlocked skins, titles, abilities and local progression milestones;
- selected language, sound, haptic and sensitivity settings;
- an optional nickname or generated local player title;
- recent run state needed for gameplay features such as rewarded continue.
This local gameplay data is stored on your device. It is not used to create a Sniko account and is not synced to a Sniko server. If you uninstall the app or clear app data, this local progress may be deleted.
2. Information collected by third-party services
Sniko uses third-party services to provide ads, privacy consent, analytics, crash reporting and remote configuration. These services may collect or process data according to their own policies and applicable law.
Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK
Sniko uses Google AdMob to show rewarded ads and limited interstitial ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share information such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad identifiers, app interactions, ad views, diagnostics and device identifiers for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance.
Sniko does not use banner ads in gameplay. Rewarded ads are optional user choices, such as continuing a run or activating an ability.
Google User Messaging Platform
Sniko uses Google's User Messaging Platform where required to request and manage advertising consent and privacy choices.
Firebase Analytics
Sniko uses Firebase Analytics to understand game performance and improve gameplay balance. Analytics events can include app opens, screen views, run starts, run results, score ranges, gameplay configuration versions, ad placement events and share actions. Sniko does not send your typed nickname as a required analytics identity.
Firebase Crashlytics
Sniko uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose crashes and errors. Crash reports may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostics and technical identifiers needed to fix stability issues.
Firebase Remote Config
Sniko uses Firebase Remote Config to tune non-personal gameplay and ad settings, such as ad frequency limits, feature flags and gameplay balance versions. The game keeps offline defaults and does not depend on Remote Config to run.
3. How information is used
Sniko and its service providers use information for these purposes:
- to provide and improve gameplay, local progression and game settings;
- to show optional rewarded ads and limited interstitial ads;
- to measure ad performance and impression-level ad revenue;
- to understand crashes, errors, performance and gameplay quality;
- to prevent fraud, abuse and invalid ad traffic;
- to comply with legal, platform and policy requirements.
4. Sharing of information
Sniko does not sell personal information and does not share local gameplay progress with a Sniko account server. Information may be processed or shared with Google services used in the app, including AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config, as described above.
If you use the native share feature, you choose what to share through your device's share sheet. Share cards can include your score, run statistics, selected title and optional nickname if you set one.
5. Advertising choices and consent
Depending on your region, Sniko may show a consent form for personalized ads or related privacy choices. You can also manage ad personalization and advertising ID settings through your device and Google settings.
Where available, Sniko provides a privacy options entry in Settings so you can reopen Google's privacy choices.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Local game progress remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data.
- Crash, analytics and ad data are retained by the relevant Google services according to their policies and controls.
- You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID through Android settings where supported.
- You can contact us to request help with privacy or deletion questions related to Sniko.
7. Children's privacy
Sniko is a general-audience casual arcade game and is not directed to children. Sniko does not knowingly request personal information from children. If this positioning changes, Sniko will require a separate child-directed compliance review before release.
8. Security
Sniko relies on platform security and third-party SDK security controls. Google Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but Sniko is designed to minimize the amount of data needed for the game.
9. International processing
Third-party services used by Sniko may process data in countries other than your country of residence. Their processing is governed by their own terms, policies and applicable data transfer mechanisms.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Sniko changes, when SDK behavior changes, or when legal or platform requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.
